Korocodile Tears

Who possibly believes  the tears
That North Koreans demonstrate
Because Kim Jong-il  disappears
And son Kim Jong-un’s head of state?
Why fret about a man’s last breath
If he’s why kinfolk starved to death?

Some millions did, to maintain troops
Whose generals keep the Kims in power.
Civilians look like helpless dupes;
Survival forces them to cower
While dearest leaders build more nukes,
Which publicly no one rebukes.

It’s time for social media
To make their way around the world.
This half of a peninsula
Needs what the Arab Spring unfurled:
A YouTube underground  harangue
That prompts an Occupy Pyongyang.
