Pants on Fire

What I admire most of all
About our newest president
Is how he has the unfazed gall
To lie about what’s evident,
To wit, inauguration crowds
Whose size he said a pic beclouds.

The photo of the National Mall
Park Rangers took when he was sworn
Belies his claim his wasn’t small,
Such argument deserving scorn!
Obama’s crowds when viewed en masse
To much degree showed much less grass.

In winning the electoral vote
He claimed, as a Republican,
With straight face and for all to quote
Since Reagan, no one to a man
Gleaned more. Bush W. perhaps.
H.W., however, caps.

And just the other night he told
A crowd of faithful hangers-on,
In Sweden terrorists so bold
Attacked (no further details drawn).
“What’s he been smoking?” cast a slur,
A former foreign minister.
