You Tell Her, Bill

I disagree with John McCain
On most stuff, though I like him heaps.
I love his nearly lone campaign
That gives my liberal friends the creeps
To rid the Syrians of their fright
 By lending military might.

We did so over Libya
Without our boots down on the ground
As once we did in Bosnia
When NATO planes brought Serbs around
To seeing slaughter doesn’t pay.
Bashar al-Asaad should today.

This head of state kills anyone,
The sick, the old, the kids, the maimed.
Untypically we’ve not begun
To recognize how we’re acclaimed
For purging such an über-fiend
And making sure he falls demeaned.

The rebels are more disparate
Than those in other Arab states,
So order is intemperate,
Which weaker dissidence creates.
Deserters, though, from Army ranks
Offset somewhat big guns and tanks.

Bill Clinton voiced regrets worldwide
For standing by as Hutus raged.
Five hundred thousand Tutsis died
Or more, the Human Rights Watch gauged.
Before he turns their night light out
He ought to shout, Hil, show some clout!
