Accept Yahweh, Infidel!

My hopes have soared to such a height
That setbacks in North Africa
(For instance, rebels in their fight
To disencumber Libya
Of tyranny but now give ground)
Compel my urging schemes more sound.

In Egypt, Muslims burned a church
Because of feuds with Christian Copts.
And who’d think husbands dare besmirch
A wife on Women’s Day who opts
To march for rights. Men yelled go home,
And get their blessings first to roam.

All doings since Mubarak fell,
Which indicates there’s lots more work
So despots once again don’t quell
The efforts of each brave young Turk
To overthrow each reigning crook.
Don’t let Gaddafi off the hook!

My plan? I’ve thought of no-fly zones.
We know that they’ve worked out before.
Alone? With allies? Huge unknowns.
In no event, another war.
Which leaves a thought that’s doubtless odd:
Deploy the world’s top spooks: Mossad.

Remember when its agents iced
A Hamas chieftain in Dubai?
Inside his room their skill sufficed
To prove they even sense defy:
His door chain found back in its clasp!
Expect Gaddafi in their grasp.
