Who will know when jailers pooh-pooh
Penal statutes in the future?
Recent case: Binyam Mohamed,
Seized in Pakistan for grilling
In Morocco, where permitted,
Evidently penis-slashing.
Bomb-plot allegations issued.
(Did he yarn to make them stop it?)
Charges later discontinued,
He and four more filed their own writ.
Justices paid no attention;
National safeguards were their reason.
Court restraint too bad was not one.
(Checks and balances are treason?)
