Thou Shalt Maim and Kill

Thank heavens that the High Court thinks
Our kids can virtually lay claim
To what at first you might think stinks,
Their right to cyber-rape and maim
A mother-daughter team in throes
Of yet more violent videos.

Or put a bullet in the head
Of JFK while he rides past
A Dallas crowd, although long dead,
How dare you deem that he’s the last
Assassinated president?
Kids must rehearse the next event.

Impatient that they have to sneak
Lewd looks at print and cyber porn,
As though preteen amounts to freak,
Who might as well have just been born,
They now can deal a mortal blow
To women if their breasts don’t show.

Let’s hope the ruling gives a pass
To children at their corner bars,
And if their feet can reach the gas,
To drive to second grade in cars.
Praise God somewhere it’s still a sin
To study Huckleberry Finn.
