The Muslim demonstrators pose
No greater threat to any man
Than those horrific so-and-sos,
Al Qaeda and the Taliban.
Those in the street want decent work,
Not burying a roadside bomb.
Perhaps health coverage as a perk,
Not suicide. It’s not Islam.
A house should always beat a cave;
Broad tutelage, dogmatic thought.
An innovative tidal wave
Can clean up what bin Laden’s wrought.
That’s why I bet he’s less afraid
Of NATO than democracy,
And more of Arabs who evade
His gruesome side of history.
