New York’s Mayor Bloomberg wants to shrink
The bottle size of cokes folks drink
At shows, in bistros and the street,
Since such caloric swill’s so sweet,
And three in ten of us, obese,
But will the incidence decrease?
Perhaps a nuisance value plays
Some function if one drink allays
A sugar rush and voids a yen
To order and pay up again.
So why at sixteen ounces stop?
Why not entirely one a pop?
A business plan today exists
Which in these minor sums consists.
At run-down spots you’ve heard, I bet,
You wanna buy a cigarette?
No packs or bottles any more.
We’ll boost our years at least a score!
