Shalom!

Chag Sameach! (Joyous Pasoch!)
Passover begins at sundown.
Jews, passed over since no door knock
Thanks to lamb’s blood, promptly left town,
Fleeing Pharaoh’s servility,
Moses deftly cleaving the sea.

Progeny continued nimble
Though it’s got them into trouble
Intellect made them a symbol
Lesser minds in history’s rubble
Such as World War II equated
With conniving unabated.

Honest! They’re the smartest humans
Think of names in each endeavor
Jealousy’s what makes them demons
In the eyes of those less clever.
Egypt’s rebels: re-invite them!
Let them help sort out the mayhem.
