Is Mitt a Masochist?

Since you don’t pay an income tax,
You count upon the government,
As victims, dubbed, to watch your backs
With health care, food—you name it—rent,
Or loans to get B.A. degrees
And kindle possibilities.

Mitt Romney told a wealthy crowd
Of donors filmed behind closed doors
Such compensations are allowed
Such folks, however, he ignores,
Like nearly half the voters, whom
Obama‘s captured, he‘d assume.

He says he’ll never sway them to
Take charge of caring for their lives
But what have some of them been through?
A wounded warrior survives
Though after losing all his limbs.
Are self-bought new ones Romney whims?

Ironic that he most insults
A key component of his base:
Republican white male adults
Of age to need a shoulder brace
And monthly checks the SSA’s
Remitting till the end of days.

If Romney wants to write them off
He just as well should pack it in..
Electorates you cannot scoff
In such percentages and win.
His talent seems to be the gaffe—
Too clumsy and obtuse by half.
